
1. Warm water, Lemon and Ginger
Set yourself up for the day and warm your body by drinking a large glass of warm water, add the juice of half an organic lemon and grate some fresh ginger and drink slowly.
2. Warming Herbs and Spices
When the temperatures begin to fall and the winter sets in, begin introduce warming herbs and spices into your diet. Curry Powder, Turmeric, Cumin, Coriander, Garlic, Cloves, Black and Cayenne pepper will all help the blood circulation and energise the cells of your body.
3. Warm Foods
Winter stews, Curries and Soups, containing red peppers, onions, garlic, celery, leeks and all of the warm spices will create great fire energy inside the digestive system.
4. Exercise
Cardiovascular exercises that make the body sweat are so important for women. The metabolism will be enhanced and cellular regeneration is ensured as oxygen increases throughout every cell in the body.
Winter warming stew
1 Red Onion
2 /3 Organic Carrots
2 Leeks
4 Cloves Garlic
2 chillies
1 Butternut squash
2 sticks Celery
1 cup of Lentils
Small amount of ginger
Small amount of Turmeric
Large pinch of Danival Salt
Vegetable stock
Chop the onion, carrots, leeks, butternut squash and celery, grate the ginger and crush the garlic.
Sauté the vegetables in a little olive oil until the onion has softened.
Add the remaining ingredients and stir well.
Finally add the vegetable stock and allow to simmer.
