Rules For Life

There are some rules that I live by, that I think are applicable to everyone looking to live a fulfilling and rewarding life. So here they are!

Observe you thoughts

For me the number one RULE FOR LIFE is to observe your thoughts.
Our thoughts create our reality, can drain us, increase stress, sleeplessness, deplete our vital force, zap our confidence and much more. You have manifested everything in your life with a thought, so start creating more great things bring them into your life now. Everything is possible when you believe
Exercise:
Begin to observe your thoughts!
Cancel and clear all negative self-talk and negative thoughts. Replace them with positive motivating words and images. Remind your sub conscious that you do not believe this negative thought that it is untrue.

Have Goals

Do you have goals? If not, why not?
How can you expect the universe to manifest your dreams and desires if you have not outlined them?
Exercise:
Take a small journal or note book, open a blank page, write down the date and outline 5 goals that you would like to achieve before the end of this year. Now do not leave it there to fester look and read it every day, feel the emotion as if you already have it. Every time you think of you desires feel the emotion of already having it and wait for the magic to happen.

See the Positives in Your Life

We are truly blessed to have our freedom, opportunities, great friends and family, our wonderful bodies and all of the wondrous possibilities and probabilities which lie ahead for us.
Exercise:
Take a journal and very evening before you sleep write 3 great things about your day.
Be a Good Time Manager
These days Life is full of distractions. Find your saboteurs of time and eliminate them from your life.
Exercise:
Make the right choices in your time management, stop being busy being busy and become productive with your time.

Be Good to Yourself

You are the most important thing in your life so be good to YOU!

Look After Your Health

Looking after yourself should be your number 1 focus.
Why wait until you get sick, start today to review your life and see what small changes you can make to enhance your health.

Exercise:
Make the move to get Moving
Exercising daily will release all of your happy hormones Dopamine, Serotonin, Endorphins, Oxytocin giving you more motivation and drive for life.
Have a kinesiology test to ensure you have no food intolerances which are slowing down your metabolism.

Surround Yourself With Positive People

There is nothing more draining on your energies than negative people. Review your relationships and slowly move away from those negative people that may be in your life zapping your vital energies
Exercise:
Surround yourself in new friends who nurture and encourage you

 

Feng Shui Your Life

Feng Shui is a Chinese philosophical system of harmonizing environments. When you begin to move the energy in one area of your life the energies in all areas being to shift.
Exercise:
Clear any clutter from your life, look around your home, car and office and see what can change, move around or discard.
Introducing oxygenating plants, crystals, changing the colours of a room can all enhance the energies and change the dynamics of your life. Check out “The life changing magic of Tidying” by Marie Kondo
See challenges as opportunities for personal growth
Only 3% of the world’s population look on life’s challenges as opportunities for personal growth.
Exercise:
Look at situations in your life where you feel you are stuck, see the benefit hidden behind the situation and claim back your power by making the decision to change things.
These situations and challenges are often what we need to reset our life.

 

Practice Gratitude

Daily expression of gratitude is a powerful exercise, gratitude helps us see situations in a way that lessen stress and opens us up to many new possibilities. Be amazed at all of the things we take for granted.
Exercise:
Start a gratitude journal and write about all of the things and people you have to be grateful for.
You will start to see your life change day by day
Print a copy of my gratitude prayer from Blog, Meditation on Zestivo.com. Laminate it and put it somewhere you will see it and read it daily.
